Well, this is one way of trying to write it all down

Hi. I am an OLD mom of a "preschooler." I'm 45, almost 46. My daughter is 3, almost 12, back to 18 months...Okay that sounds confusing. But, if you have or had a 3 year old, have you been there?
She's a joy, a frustration, a comedian, a lecturer, a lover, a hater, a fighter, a peacemaker...being 3 and being a girl on top of it makes for a complicated little being.
But, I love her to pieces, and cannot remember life without her in it. And I had a lot of life before we were blessed with her. My husband has been after me, since our daughter could speak, to be writing down everything cute she says. Life gets in the way of the best of intentions, doesn't it?
I'm a stay-at-home mom, but am helping my husband with his real estate business. Much of what I do for him is on the computer. So I thought maybe this would be a way of actually writing down the (what we proud parents believe are) cute and precious things Isabella says. We'll see how I do. Maybe no one will read this. Maybe people who do will think it's silly or (gasp!) stupid. But, I thought I'd try, even if it's just for our own memories. And, at our age, we need to write things down!
Well, if you know preschoolers, their attention span is short, so my first blog post must be as well, as I'm being called to come examine a bug that's crawling across some sidewalk chalk artwork.
One little cute (to her parents) thing Isabella says, just to share something:
Home Depot - she calls it "Homeless Depot." We find that priceless...
Until another day!
-Sherry
